aldi track pump?

bought the aldi track pump on thursday but i cant get a airtight connection on the valve, theres no instructions either. has any1 figured it out or is it going back tommorow?

    Push it down onto the valve as far as you can, then lift the lever up. If you get air leakage, it's probably coming from under the gauge. If so take it back and swap it.

    Found this a bit tricky too. Seems like it wants to be pushed on quite a long way to get a seal.

    However, after a few tries I've got it down, and can happily get above 80psi.

    Bargain.

    thanks, it was confusing me having to pull the lever up instead of down to attache pump to valve, but i sorted it now and my 700c tyres are 60psi. i couldnt get that with a dual footpump so im happy with it.
