Tacx Swing Help

I'm trying to put my new Tacx Swing turbo-trainer together and I can't for the life of me work out how to attach the magnetic unit to the turbo trainer itself. The instructions are worse than useless here as they say 'shove the unit on to the handle' which no matter how hard I try the magnetic unit is still unfeasably loose. Anyone know how this is done?
