Question About Disc Brake Caliper - Fork Adapter Type

I've read the 'Disc mounts an explaination' sticky but i'm still not 100% sure :oops: so i'm after some confirmation.

I have a 2008 Orange Five Pro, is currently has Fox 32 Float R forks and Hope Mono Mini brakes with a 183mm rotor on the front and a 165mm rotor at the rear.

I'm a big fella :oops: and i'm after a bit more stopping power so i'm going to upgrade the front to a 203mm Hope floating rotor. I'm also going to upgrade the rear rotor but i'm ok with the fitment side of things.

Looking at the size and shape of the current adapter on the forks, i reckon it is a Hope Mount Adaptor Front Post to Post 183mm

Therefore, i reckon i need a Hope Mount Adaptor Front Post to Post 203mm

Sounds simple enough to me Is this correct?

so your fork is post mount and your brake is post mount so you need a 6" post to post adaptor for a 203 disc.

so yep you got it right.
