Has anyone anay tips on riding this trail ( mainly a dismantled railway line) ? I have looked at it on the Landranger maps and on Google Earth and it seems fairly straightforward, but I was wondering if there were any hidden treasures (sights to see or places to stop) or things to watch out for before I give it a go.
Cheers, Bill

We did it the other way earlier this year.

It is straightforward. There are some nice views (probably better seen going south) and some of the woods south of Bramley should be in bloom now.

We got absolutely filthy despite no rain - and the cafe at Shoreham was great.

Your best bet would be to go as far as Bramley and try the village for grub?

We started from Farnborough and came across the Hogs Back & North Downs to Guildford. It was 55 miles, 35+ on the disused railway line.
