I need to replace my Ritchey semi integrated headset.

I know which ones I need apart from the sizes stated are;

1 1/8" 10mm
1 1/8" 15mm
1 1/8" 25mm

http://www.wiggle.co.uk/ProductDetail.aspx?Cat=cycle&ProdID=5360033926&n=Ritchey%20Pro%20Drop%20In%20Headset

What dimension does the final 10, 15 or 25mm option refer to? Is this the depth of each bearing set?

Thanks

    what is it going on?

and that link is for an integrated headset NOT a semi integrated headset.

    Scott Scale 10.

Scott called it a semi-integrated. Looks fine to me (exactly the same as the one on the bike) as I've already had them out and cleaned up. Basically sealed bearings sitting in cups pressed into the frame - hence I guess semi-integrated.

I don't need to replace the cups, just the sealed bearings as the bottom one is in a bit of a state even after a damn good clean-up.

so have a look at the numbers of the bearings. as the integrated and Semi-s can be 45-45, 36-36 or 45-36 degrees combos.

    Thanks Nick,

But I know that part already. They are 45 45. My question is that there are 3 options to order.

    1 1/8" 10mm
    1 1/8" 15mm
    1 1/8" 25mm

I just don't know what the last mm measurements are related to.

Maybe it just refers to spacers?

and those are not for the semi int. headset.

and there is no info on Ritchey's webby. you will have to measure the existing ones.

and the wiggle link give the total stack height including the top cover.

but like i said that is the Ritchey "drop in" headset. ie. intedgreated and there are two differing bearing diameters one might work and the other will not.

    .

Thanks. Pretty sure that's what I'm looking for... will measure the stack.

should not matter as you already have the bits. All you need is the bearings.... not the headset.

Well that didn't go very well  Ordered from Wiggle and they've just arrived. Outside diameter is 41.8 whereas I need 41.0mm. There is a check box on the box with options for the right size, but no option was available on the Wiggle site for selecting. I'm returning them and have emailed asking if they can get the other size.
