Cracks Or Scratches on Carbon Frame? *PICS*
anyone have any ideas on the weird marks I have on my seat stay arch just near the calliper? Its a 4 month old carbon frame. I have sent the pics off to the place I got it from but was wondering if anyone else has seen this kinda thing before?

okay thanks - yea the clearance is pretty close. Should I just keep patching it up with a bit of lacquer?0

The underside of my rear brake bridge is covered in those, nothing to worry about. You can't avoid it on a frame without guards.0

There's a great competition here.
Post an obscure picture of a part of your bike, and see if anyone can spot which bit it is.0 -
A motorcycle shop will have carbon look stickers that people put on their petrol tanks to prevent trousers or jacket rubbing the paint. There may be a sticker in those packs that you could use to cover the scratches. That way when the sticker collects more scratches you can just replace it and your frame won't suffer any more marks.

It's a shame they don't put protection there like some do on the r/h chain stay.0
