What's wrong with 4OD?

I only seem to be able to download something from 4OD about once in every ten attempts the last few weeks. It usually says "unknown error"? what the hell does that mean?
Anybody else been having problems with it?

card/cable? pics? what you on about?
Yeah, it does eventually download, but it rarely works. It took me a half hour of clicking download, then waiting, then trying again, to get an episode of Shameless last night.0 -

oops! sorry, I meant channel 4's 4 On Demand service, called 4OD! O, not 0!!0

Can't say I've used it though I have tried iPlayer from the Beeb and the download seems to start pretty quick, just slow on the actual download. There are other places on the net for TV proggys, just not necessarily the ones you want.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

I've used the BBC iplayer as well, and haven;t had a problem with it.
As far as I know, Ch4's programs can only be downloaded legally from 4OD. Sneer all you want about piracy, but it really is affecting people's incomes.0 -
....but not johnny Depp'sPictures are better than words because some words are big and hard to understand.

Never heard that phrase, sorry.
I was trying to think of a way of conveying tumbleweed rolling by, and a whistling wind, but gave up!0 -
