Just been getting my head around bike geometry and the differing effects of varying lengths and angles, ive got a handle on most of it (albeit at a very basic level) but the one thing that hasnt sat first time is the way 'Trail' affects a bikes handling. I understand what 'Trail' is but I dont get how it affects the handling ... could someone give me a quick master class on it please??
I found it hard, its was hard to find, oh well whatever nevermind.

Very basically, more trail makes the steering more stable. Slacker head angles increase trail with the same fork.0

read this http://www.bikeradar.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1535746 ? as the change in trail is the main issue."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
