Hey all.
I recently purchased a big ring protector from chain reaction http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... delID=3953
I bought this as it covers all three rings as opposed to normally just the one ring. However, i recived it today only to find that it has 5 bolts as opposed to the 4 which i have on my bike. Im new to riding and was told a ring protector would be great the woods riding i do.
Is there anyway i can convert my current large ring to a 5 bolt version? if so how much would this cost and is it easy to do?
Many thanks
Sam

send it back and get a 4 bolt. Or buy new cranks."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

i personally just wouldnt bother,, out chain rings get bashed thats life, this thing will add a ton of unneeded weight to your chainset0

if you really need a bash, then you almost certainly don't need a triple chainset!0
