I have a few suspicions, but unfounded until more information is released by the police.
It is at a busy cross-junction, with barriers at the side of the road, so...Whenever I see an adult on a bicycle, I believe in the future of the human race.

Something very sobering about a death on your daily commuting route.
Poor guy worked for the same organisation as me. Police were in my building to get next of kin details from HR.

At least the words used now - "A cyclist has died after a collision involving a dumper truck..." are neutral as to blame. I sent comment to the Beeb this morning about Version 1 of the story which said "A cyclist has been killed after colliding with a dumper truck....".0
