Hi all,
I'm about to embark on fitting some 105 STIs (2007 - 5600 model) to a bike and was wondering if there was anything I needed/needed to know about besides the cables and the outers. I have the M:Part in-line cable adjusters, but I'm not sure if there are an special cable ferrules that are needed for the ends of the cables.
Any advice is most welcomed.
TIA,
Michael

The outers have to have ferrules at each end which slot into the in-line adjusters and the shifters and also at the mech and the guide on the chainstay, but they will be supplied with the cables.0

measure twice cut once with the cable outer - or alternativly just use the old ones as a guide
remember for adjuster to work they need a reasonable curve in the cable outer in order to add/remove tension and make sure the bars can spin freely (more important in a crash than when riding normally so you don't tear something off)We're in danger of confusing passion with incompetence
