Anyone bought a pair of these? If so what do you think of them as a regular road riding wheels, and not TT specific. Do they climb OK? And what comes with them from HED UK, bags, skewers??

I've got the HED Jet 60/90 combo on my TT bike, they roll pretty well though I wouldn't buy them for my roadbike. They climb ok but they aren't the lightest, but do look good.

They come with nothing, no bags, skewers or anything.

    Cheers

They are basically the same as Bontrager Aeolus which cost about £1500, the Heds cost about £650. They use the same rim and hubs. I think also if you phone HED they can put more spokes in if your heavier or not (maybe wrong). They're lighter than Mavic Cosmic's and a bit cheaper. They should be as good as the Bontrager's and there great!

I have a pair of Jet V60s (see picture) and they're great and yes HED can make them with extra spokes for heavier riders.

  • i've got a pair of these for my regular road bike. certainly light enough for climbing well and have an aero advantage over say fulcrum 1's which were another consideration. they felt great, although they are on a new bike build (595), so the whole ride feels great.

they come with skewers and valve extenders. still charging £30 for different coloured stickers tho.
