I am after a descent set of forks to go on my merlin ti frame. The ones that are on are pretty basic and i find them quite twitchy. I will be doing a few sportives this year and wanted something a bit more relaxed. Any ideas. Cheers

you want some with less rake then, and possibly stiffer too, depending on what causing the twitchiness.

less rake will give you more trail, and more trail = more stability

Easton would be a good place to start looking.

I had the same question a few weeks ago. I initially chose to go with the Easton forks but they were out of stock with the distributor saying they would be in some time in May...........

So I decided to get some Kinesis Tracer ones in the end. I have only had one ride on them so far due to illness and the rubbish weather, but I was pleased with what I had got. Link below to the Kinesis forks.
