Giro Atmos replacement pads.
Hi everyone,
My Giro Atmos is looking a tad dishevelled and I was thinking in these days of economic frugality I would splash out on some replacement pads at £4 rather than a replacement helmet at £100. Now my question is I seem to have lost a couple of the tiny velcro type sticky things which help attach the pads to the helmet. Does anyone know where I can get them from ??

Try a stationery store or haberdasher - they sell self-adhesive velcro strips or dots. Worth cleaning the inside of the helmet with a soapy solution to make sure there's no greasy residue to prevent it sticking - dare I say don't use any type of solvent!Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

thinking of buying one of these helmets so can I ask if they are ok looking? no "mushroom perched upon head" syndrome!? I'd be a medium if it helps. 8)0

Hi there.
Every head is different! Try one at your lbs and check the mirror.
For what it's worth I think the Atmos is a great helmet and have had two in a row. The second was through their crash replacement policy though...
