Long reach bars

I have some anatomic shaped bars which I cannot set up to be comfortable on the hoods and on the drops. Why they are called anatomic I don't know. The curve needs to be more aggressive like a U shape otherwise I have to tilt them down to be comfortable on the drops but then the transition from bar to hood is not level.
I am thinking of replacing them with bars with a different shaped curve. The problem is I think they are quite long reach. From the centre of the bar to the apex of the drop curve appears to be 13 cm. Most other bars I have seen have a 8 cm reach. I already have a long stem so I have no option to increase that any further. Anyone know of any bars out there with a longer reach?
This is a consequence of agreeing to a small frame and longer stem, bars, seat post. I should have got the medium because everything is at extremes now.
BTW they are oversized bars.
