Problem with Vento rear wheel

I've got a 10 month old Campag Vento rear wheel. The cassette has suddenly decided to spin round equally freely in either direction so it doesn't 'bite' and engage the drivetrain . I don't have a campag cassette remover at the moment so can't get in there to see what's causing it - anybody offer any likely causes? (There's no obvious outward sign of damage and no incident that I can think of that's caused it.)

    Your freehub has packed up. At less than a year old you should claim for a repair or replacement under warranty.
