I've added my new £2500 bike to my Esure buildings and contents insurance. It's cost me £20 for the remaining 2 months to renewal (so will be £120 per annum). Astonishingly they stated that they have no special requirements for the bike to be stored as long as it's in a garage/house! This includes cover for theft away from the home and a trip abroad for up to 60 days...
I'll be reading the small print carefully when the letter comes through my door to be on the safe side!
Shame, because I've just destroyed my drill trying to drill concrete for a ground anchor! If only I'd known...0
