Just about to check with STMBO to see if I can sneak that one in. Normally I wouldn't entertain anything so horrid looking but I did the ToB "Ride the Route" last year (as the family were away) and that killed me. Ankerdine got called something similar sounding I seem to remember.
Living in flatshire doesn't auger well for rides like this.
is it just me  or does the website really not mention where it starts - or even when the ride starts?
JB2 minute grovels can sometimes be a lot longer..tho' shorter on a lighter bike :-)

It's *only* 1300m of climbing (4000ft ish) which is not much really compared to the Tour of Pembroke (over 10k feet) the CGF (4900m / ca 15k feet) or the Dragon at 3000m of climbing....0

thanks for that. That sounds a whole lot better.
The website describes it in true horror story techniclour. Obviously to appeal to testosterone fuelled cyclists - why else if its not THAT bad? :?

JB
I emailed the organiser(at least I think it was the organiser, or maybe the webpersonthingy) and have just had this reply
"Thanks for pointing out the lack of info regarding the HQ for our event.
Something important that was overlooked while we confirmed the venue.
Its now on the home and event info pages along with a link to a map.
Hope that helps.
Regards"
Thats pretty good going. Must check it out now.

and then a balls out sprint for the KoM???
How about TTing for the first 95 miles, then dragging yourself up the climb...0 -

I was down but I'm having to withdraw for various reasons so if anyone would like my place transferring to them, let me know and we'll go from there...0
