VDO MC1.0 computer
I've been using the VDO MC1.0 bike computer for over a year without any malfunction and recently purchased a spare transmitter for use on a second bike.
Problem with the new transmitter/receiver combination is that it is over-reading by about 100% (speed and distance are doubled) although elapsed time is accurate.
Anyone ever encountered a similar problem? I've checked the new component model number for any discrepancy but it is identical to the existing one. I also rechecked the circumference setting which is accurate.
Is it safe to conclude the transmitter is faulty?
