Hi, I have been offered a pair of these wheels, but I don't know much about them. These are 43mm carbon with an aluminium braking surface and PBO spokes (?) Does anyone have any experience?

Judging by the time I posted in a hilly 10, I might be faster on a wheelchair. :)

I tried them once, but didn't get one with them, not because they are intrinsically bad, but just because they didn't match my riding style. Having said that, if I was offered a pair for cheap, I'd still take them as I think they'd be ideal for long time-trials or other long flat rides.

My experience is that they are very compliant, so not really suited to the lightweight/aggressive rider, but they do seem to have good aero properties and to rolld nicely when you get into a rhythm on the flat, so if you're the kind of rider that likes to hammer out the pace on flattish terrain, then these could be ideal. Horses for courses as they say...

Thanks for that Simon. What about a heavy agressive rider? (85kg)
