Crossed Wires ???

Ive just had my LBS fit a complete Ultegra groupset, all seems fine but I noticed today that they have crossed the changer cables on the underside of the downtube. Is this normal as I havent ever had a bike that had this done before. Wont this crossing cause some resistance to the gear changing ?? Any comments?

    They probably did it to get a neater (and probably smoother running) cable run from the bars to the down tube. The wires crossing doesnt matter though it might be worth checking that they enter the cable guide under the bottom bracket at a reasonable angle. Cant see that being a problem though.

    I have had bikes set up this way (from new) and never had a problem. Always do it the normal way myself though.
