Help
I bought a pair of Elites a few weeks back, I am worried that the front hubs are not 100%
firstly the hubs required some adjustment after 2 rides, I adjusted the cones as per Mavics instructions using the tool provided, but only one of the cones (the ones with the little holes for the tool) felt tight enough to adjust, the other one spins freely.
I am not sure if one of them should spin freely or not.
can anybody confirm if they should be like this?

I dont know but I have two pairs of Mavic ES wheels and I had to tighten them after the first week and have been fine since. As long as the wheel spins freely and does not wobble side to side when waggling it should be ok.
Dont take my word for it though. Try to phone your LBS and ask them - always worth a shot. Sorry not more helpful but somebody else with more knowledge might come along.Brian B.0 -
You can only adjust Ksyrium hubs on one side - the side that the supplied tool fits.0

Mavic wheels bearings are loose when the skewers are not tight enough. So tighten the skewers before you tighten the bearings.0
