Anyone got one?

What are they like?

Out of curiosity does anyone know how much a 56cm frame and forks weighs?

Cheers

According to Weight Weenies, the frame in a 56cm including the Si BB and seat collar come in at a touch over 1500g. I've had one since 2004 and have been very happy with it. I don't have a whole lot of experience comparing road bikes, but it has always been plenty stiff enough for me, comfortable enough for 3-4 hour rides and certainly feels like there's plenty of zip there when accelerating. I'm definitely the limiting factor when riding it!

For reference, when I bought it, I also tried the CAAD 6/7/8/9 (whichever was the latest version), a carbon Bianchi, Litespeed Vortex and one or two others and it was a surprisingly easy decision to pick the six13...

That said, I'm contemplating changing the frame this summer, although that's probably more to do with me fancing a change (and being a bit of a tart) than any real shortcomings in the bike.

I love my Six13 but have yet to really put it through it's paces. It's certainly responsive to every effort your put into it and it feels very sturdy in a flat out bat-out-of-hell sprint. I'm not a light chap either! I've teamed it up with Fulcrum 3 and Ultegra gruppo, standard chainset with a big cassette. Sorry the pic below is so big (dunno how to make it smaller)

I don't know what kind of riding you are hoping for, but I have a Synapse Carbon and that is fantastic. Really comfortable on long rides and plenty fast for me. Frame guaranteed for life by Cannondale too. I think it has a more relaxed geometry than the Six.
