Bicycle parking in Covent Garden

Does anyone know if there are any bicycle racks around Covent Garden? I've struggled to find any free lamp posts/railings around there in the past.

Welcome :-)
One of the things that worried me about cycling in London was the availability of cycle stands.
You can also use http://maps.camdencyclists.org.uk/ and select an area. Then click on the 'Show stands' key at the top right of the map.
It's a bit slow though.0 -
Hmm. Make sure you lock everything to the bike.
I lost forks, bar, stem, shifter etc when someone did a 'pro' job on my nice new bike. They couldn't get the wheels and the frame, but everything else was lifted while I was at work.0 -
The local council in Bristol cleared a load of D-Locks from outside a bar in Corn Street recently despite the agreement of the bar managment for cyclists to lock their bikes up outside the bar.

I've used the racks near Covent Garden's main drag recently - they get horribly busy, so if you head a bit further north there are some more that are less crowded
sorry can't tell you where - it was near Belgo's if that's any help!

There are some near the Lyceum on the corner of the Strand and Aldwych. Nice and busy there to deter most theives.0

Thanks guys. I locked my bike (using two D locks and a cable lock) to some racks on Drury Lane while I went to the theatre and am happy to report that when I came back my bike was still as I'd left it.*´¨)
