Do I just touch it up with some paint? Twas causes by a bang from a d-lock rather than any substantial collision, so I don't think I have to worry about it too much. But I don't want it to rust or anything. Can you get frame protectors for a top tube?

Touch it up with a dab of paint. Try matching with the little tins of Humbrol from model shops or even nail varish.
Recipe: shave legs sparingly, rub in embrocation and drizzle with freshly squeezed baby oil.

I found Humbrol a bit delicate - but car touch up paint (in a tiny bottle with brush) ideal. Remove rust, dry well. The finish is a bit blobby and not the exact colour but I don't think it matters myself - could probably be applied as thinner layers with a little wet & dry between for a better finish.

hammeright not the hammer finish version of the paint, its very thick so builds up easy. takes ages to dry out properly though.

Good call, Hammerite is a very good rust protector.

    It's called Smoothrite
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.
