headset advice needed

Hi,

I've just bought myself a new frame, much lighter than the old steel tank I used to ride but it has a weird headset requirement that I've never come across before it needs a

1 1/8" 44/55mm semi-integrated Ahead style headset

Anyone know where I would find such an item?? I'm used to the days where you just banged a load of bearings, cups and washers together and screwed the lot together with a big nut!!!

Best bet would be to go to the Park website, and look at all the standards for headsets that they list.

Dounds like a Zero Stack headset is needed. Do not understand the 55mm measuremnet though.

Thanks, yeah I think you're right, it certainly looks like a zero stack. I was a bit gazumped by the 55mm measurement too, surely it's either 44 or 55????

unless the top cup is 44 and the bottom is 55 but that would be crazy.

55 is the OD of the tube perhaps?
