dudes just a headsup about the RR team kit - if you want to get some I say make a note in your calender or something because I am sure they will be sold out in no time.

The Store will be going live on 20th of May so keep checking their site for updates.

They seem to have 4 different colours on offer..

I want the green-black version. The problem of course is that the kit's going to be as expensive as a new bike.

I'd definitely wear the kit, in my opinion it's a lot better than Rapha (higher vis, modern material rather than wool, modern look), although I might not say that when they announce the price!

Of course, why do you think I said I wanted it? (Of course, I'd skip the matching booties)

I hear you get a free syringe if you buy a full kit.

They lost a chunk of time in the TTT yesterday - 50'ish seconds to Slipstream.

Yeah, it's cos they're giving away too many free syringes to punters buying the kit... and maybe also because they're crap and hopefully not here to stay

I suspect some of the 'merican races would die without Balls money. Does the Tour of California have sponsor for next year?

    And the girls are welcome.

Ball owns the team and fashion company, doesn't he?

Yes, Ball owns both. BTW, he actually did ride on a cycling team earlier in his life so as disruptive as he's been, he is an actual cyclist.

So he says. There's very little documentary evidence to back this up however.

Maybe we're not all cynical idiots and don't need conclusive proof?

If someone races, as Ball claims he did, on both track and road in the US then they'd have to have had a license. The US cycling federation have no records of him ever being a member.

Maybe the only idiots around here are those who are taken in by the charm of the snake oil salesman that is Micheal Ball?
