Tiagra compact chainset

Hi,

I currently run a FSA megaEXO chainset with 105 9 speed set up. I want to try a compact and the Tiagra looks OK. Can I just swap the chainsets about or do I have to buy the outboard bearings and reface the BB? I understood that they are interchangable.

    If you've already got FSA outboard bearing then the Tiagra compact should fit this OK as FSA and Shimano outboard BB's are prett much the same.
