Don't be scared of the rain, get out on your bike.

I haven't yet been out on my new bike when the sun has been out :( .

My first three rides on mine were during the sleet around easter time - I just made sure I gave the bike a good clean after getting in.

I wouldn't. It'll be dry tomorrow and you'll keep that pristine shine you only get from a new bike for a while longer.

Don't know what you clean your bike with but mine gets ridden in all sorts (last weekend it got filthy) but i cleaned it afterwards and right now it's gleaming and you could eat your dinner off it :D .......till tomorrow when i go out on it and it gets filthy again

I went for a spin, just a quick 20 miles, and I'm glad I did. :D I'll either clean it early tomorrow or take my other one on the club run.

Just so I can tell somebody, the frame on the "new" one is a second hand Time VX with Chorus and Eurus wheels. It was supposed to be a second summer bike but got a bit out of hand. Not a weight weenie, it comes in at 17 pounds. The ride is sublime. :D

Spin, fine. Slide, bad. Sounds good!
