Possible broken piston

I have a 7 inch hayes hfx 9 on my back wheel. The other day, the pad inexplicably fell off during hard breaking but as we were nearly home I decided to try and make it back.
Unfortunatly the disk then bent somehow and pulled the little pin on the piston ( on which you clip the pad too) out. Is the piston finished or is there a way to get the pad in?

    well with out the pin the pads will be loose. get a new piston.
