hey im going to put gears back on my bike but just on the rear

i will be using a spram x5 rear mech with matching shifter and a single 34t chain ring on the front

i want to know if this device would be ok with that set up and if anyone has ever had any problums with this device

i no it is a cheep copy one but it is all i can afford intill i save up enough money for a e13 one

and then its not to much money wasted if i want to chaing back to single speed

well as you are planing on using a 34T you may find that it does not work too well and you get lots of chain rub in the top and bottom gears.

but that picture does not correspond to the words be careful as you may not get what you think.

what about if i used a 36t chain ring would that stop the rubing

it's spot on, and a peice of pi55 to fit just make sure you get the right size as it comes in three versions.
