hi, i just got a brand new atomlab trailpimp, i cant seem however to be able to press the bottom headset cup into the frame, however looking at the frame it appears to already have the shape of a bottom headset cup in it, therefore is the frame not ment to have the cup installed. i have given a link so this may make more sense... http://www.4x.cz/images/zdenda/Technika ... p_2007.jpg
thanks

is the cup deeper than the frame will allow?0
-
no, it sits in as far as it should but is not tight0
-
Strange, so it fit in to the hilt but is loose?
So the frame and headset are new - so no 'wear' could be occurring on either?0 -
picture of the problem please."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

hi, sorry i dnt have a digital camera but i took it down to my lbs and they r going to try a brand new headset for me and if that doesnt work then they say they have a suspicion the frame might be faulty but its all quite confusing so i will wait to see wat the bike shop says, but its a brand new frame and i have a warranty but hopefully its the hedsset.0

i would say it is more likely you have the wrong headset.
but lets see."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

The trailpimp uses an integrated headset
you require something like this http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=238280 -
so does an intergrated headset not have cups?0

actually r u sure that the frame uses a integrated headset, on the website it says it uses a I.S 41mm std. international headset. does the mean integrated or just normal? http://www.atomlab.com/frametrailpimp.html0

integrated is cup less and uses is of the 36 x 45 degree contact "IS" or "Cane Creek® types
