Bianchi Pista - any good for track riding?

It's all in the title. The Pista is low-cost and looks good ... but is it track-worthy for one who is starting out learning track riding?

    I have no idea, never having ridden on a track, but I've encountered the Bianchi Pista three times in my life and each time, my heart has missed a beat and my feet have stopped walking.

    what a beautiful thing it is.

    Why don't you just buy it and hang it above the fireplace? I would, but Mrs Pneumatic would leave home and then I would be lonely.
