Help.

my 605 does not seem to charge.

I plug it in and a battery symbol appears on the screen with half of it in red but after 2/3 hours does not increase. When i unplug the charger the batter shows as half full.

Any other 605/705 owners have the same problem??

I let my 705 run almost flat last friday, and left it charging over night, seemed to work for me, give it a try :)

Thanks. i have left mine run almost flat over night. Now when i connect the charger the small battery icon is showing it as charging.

A software glitch it seems after reading those posts.

To tell the truth the 705 is giving me a headache. I am not the most technically minded person in the world and am still having problems(to me) about downloading routes to my 705... think I will put it down to my age, nice to hear off a early riser like myself :)

LOL insomiac more like. Just could not get off, been up since 3am

downloading routes to the 605 was a peice of p**s.

I made my routes on biketoaster and downloaded them in TCX format. I then imported onto garming training centre. Then just clicked transfer to device and all was copied over. Just like it did with my 205 except the 605/705 has much more storage for all the way points

Hopefully if i feel better later and if my 605 finally charges full i may go out later for a 15 mile ride. Also hope the 35mph gusts don't arrive

Those gusts you are talking about are already here in the midlands, so expect them later down your end. About the Garmin Training centre, I can only log onto the info page for some reason, maybe that's the problem?
