memory map to garmin topo

can anyone tell me how the hell to copy a route that i have made in memory map to the garmin topo maps, so that i can send it to my edge 705 . i was told by garmin that this is possable but how ??????????????????????

    i don't know if this will help as i'm not familiar with the 705 or topo but if i want a track from memory map transfering to my garmin city select mapping i save it as .gpx.
    otherwise i send it straight to the gps as a saved track.
