How important is it to match the stated size of your tyres to the inner tubes you fit.

I ask this because inner tubes seem to have a massive size span, I bought a spare bonty one last weekend adn it says from 1.95" to 2.35"

When I fitted my new wheels I got some continental tubes with them these say from 1.75" to 2.25" so i fitted them as I only had these and the slipped on a set of Conti mountain kings in 2.4" width, they seemed to ride ok and filled the tyre up nicely.

Am I worrying over nothing?

dont worry. the tube will be stretched to a bit thinner than expected so it could puncture a bit easier...

Don't worry but it'll puncture easier - fantastic
