Hi, I'm a little chuffed with myself. :D
This may sound daft to some of you.

Firstly, I'm not the best at maintenance but yesterday I attempted to fit bar tape to my Profile Design Jammer GT aero bars. They're a little bendy so probably not the best to be a first attempt. I did it and they seem to be ok. The 1st one is a little ragged but the second was much better.

Another triumph for the technically inept amongst us!!

Unfortunately it's like drug addiction - after a while a simple fettle just isn't doing it for you....then you build a whole bike....then you build your own wheels....then you start to think about frame building.....

oooooh no it's a nightmare

Top tip put the tape on the radiator first to make it more workable. The great thing about bar tape is even if you get it completely wrong it's not like you can break anything

Bar tape is reasonably straight forward, and I am not the most gifted mechanic

Putting bar tape on is actually one of my least favourite jobs - too much scope for artistic interpretation. I'd much rather build a wheel, or even clean my chain!

hey, I'm a semi-pro pro photographer. Artistic interpretation... bugger that, lets just get it to stick, ok? I was happy mine stayed attached at all!!
On that note, I'd better check on that glue!!
