South Gloucestershire Watering Holes

Will be cycling over the Severn bridge in a week or so with a small group (approx 6 riders) looking for a lunch stop (Pub or Cafe) on the Sunday probably somewhere like Chipping Sodbury or Wotton under Edge.
One suggestion so far is Pobby's cafe in Chipping Sodbury but have been told that it gets very busy & is somewhat crowded?
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

The place we usually use down that way is the Beaufort Arms in Hawkesbury Upton. However that also is pretty busy if you want to eat.

Or you could try the Anchor in Oldbury on Severn
There's a garden centre with cafe at Milbury Heath, just off the A38 by Thornbury
