On-One Carbon Fork Problems?

I just got my On-One carbon forks 26" today.
When I looked at it closely it appeared that the legs went slightly inward at the bottom. After fitting the forks I had trouble getting the wheel on as the hub (XT) was a few mm wider the fork width. I am now having brake rub on the outside of the rotor (Magura) when the skewer is untightened and almost stopping when it is tightened even though the pistons are pushed back as far as the will go.
Any ideas or have I been sent a dodgy pair?

tighten wheel and then adjust caliper.
if you are unsure of the fork mail Brant."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Nicklouse sorry to sound like a div but what do you mean by adjust the caliper? I have pushed both pistons as far back as they go (Magura Louise 07)0

the mounting. if post mount adjust the caliper to adaptor. if IS mount use shims. between the caliper and fork. in the style of the old hopes."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

It's the outside pad that rubs and there are no shims so if I added any it would make it worse
After comparing the width with the pair of Magura Laurens that I took of they On-Ones are 2.5mm narrower.
Sorry if I make no sense!0
