Hi All,

I am looking at replacing the gear cables on my Orange 5 pro, do you know if I will need extra long outers due to the feed through the frame or will the supplied outers in a standard Shimano gear cable set be ok ?

Thanks

measure the length of the old outers and then order the outers to that length and a bit. Need to come off a roll.

Baz2963 give Orange a call and there is a technical department for all
    queries.

I dont doubt that there is a teccy dept at Orange, I just thought it would be easier to get a owner point of view.

Orange has a good tech team. I would say your best bet though is to buy about 5m which should cost about £2.50 and then cut it yourself. Ferruls cost about 50p for 10.

I did this on my 223 and Patriot. 5m should do 2 times but it is hand to keep some spare in the tool box. Simply cut it, open up the end with a 1.5mm allen key or similar and your away.
