Changing cassette for a bigger one- need a new chain?
Thinking of changing cassette from a 11-25 to a 12-27. Would this require a new (longer) chain? Any issues with adjustments?
Thinking of doing this with two bikes, one 105 9-speed commuter and one Ultegra 10-speed tourer. Front is 30-42-52 on one bike and 30-39-52 on the other.
Chain and cassette on the commuter are both reasonably new with no signs of wear when the chain is measured. With the tourer I would be contemplating getting the bigger cassette on a seperate (sturdier) set of wheels and swapping back and forth.
I wouldn't be cross chaining large-large anyway but I'd prefer not be in a situation where something breaks if I did.
Any issues or advice appreciated.

I wouldn't necessarily change the chain. If they've done a few miles I probably would, but if they are newish I probably wouldn't bother.
Swap the cassette over, and while the bike is on the workstand if you can change into Big chainring - Big sprocket easily the chain length should be fine.0
