Can i use a 190 i2i shock instead of a 200 i2i on my heckler

i have a snata cruz heckler with a fox float with 200mm i2i what wil happen if i take a shock with a 190 i2i as im struggeling to find a 200mm within in my budget

    you will mess up the handling. what has happened to you old shock? dont forget you need the same stroke as well as i2i.

    stupidley sold it on ebay thinking i would pick a replacment up quick also unsure on what my stroke was on my last float
