Has anyone tried both? Is the Orca worth the extra £300.00?

Hi
Funny I looked at both these bikes and went for the Izoard with Dura ace FSA Carbon crank and Fulcrum 1's.Hoping to get it in the next week.0 -
Epic seem to have amazing deals on the Orca but the only Orca dealer up here started from £3,000.
While Epic were very helpful I finally decided to avoid the mail order route. Opted for the red/white/black Izoard with Centaur Carbon, Fulcrum 3's and including having my DT RR1850's swapped to Campag = £2,500  (£850 more than I'd originally budgetted for. :P)
Both are stunning looking bikes but aesthetically the Orca in black/white just edges it for me.
If test rides had proven similar and I had a dealer such as Epic on my doorstep I think I'd of paid the difference.0 -
Epic keep the price down by using 501 or Veloce. You wouldn't get an Orca with Centaur for under £2300. Also with the Izoard they call their models SE (special edition) which means they have built them to a price point. My choice is an Izoard with Centaur or an Orca with 501 for £1999.99. Both look good but the Orca looks fantastic. But how do they perform?0

bit away from the point i know but any idea if there's any difference between the izoard chorus and centaur apart from wheels and groupset? difference only seems to add up to about £500 yet retail price is £800 different! or am i missing something? very nice bikes indeed, 0% sure is tempting...0
