What Type of Swing?

i am looking to upgrade my front Derailleur but i dont know whick type of swing i need for a standard hardtail.
a 2006 kona fire mountain.

Probably depends on the frame you're going to put it on. The one you've linked to is a top swing mech. The other type is a bottom swing mech. I had a bottom swing mech for my new build but it fouled on the bosses for a bottle cage so I swapped it for a top swing and it's all now good. I think a bottom swing would have worked as well except for the frame issue.
Let us know what the frame is.It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.

Judging from the picture in the attached link you need a top swing mech.

So you need the FD-M770 (which is different from the FD-M770-E)It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.

Top swing's are a safe bet, but their more compact nature does mean they get dirtier, and are harder to clean.
As front mechs tend to be somewhat agricultural in their operation the benefits of higher group products is somewhat diminished. If you're after saving a few bob, then CRC were selling Sram X7 mechs for £9.99 and X9 triggers for £14.99.0
