First stop after Bangkok Airport

Two questions
1, Can you ride a bike straight out of Bangkok Airport
2, Where is a good first stop to aim for?
I do not want to head towards Bangkok itself. And need a couple of options depending on arrival time.
I was thinking of heading eastwards inland, this is so I can maybe drop down parallel to the Cambodian border. Hit the end of thailand after Trat, and then loop back up the coast line
or heading due south to the coast, and looping the other way.
Thanks
