I bought one in November 07 and despite what all the label snobs on these forums say, it's actually a capable bike. There's very little wrong with the spec and the suspension works fine (sure not as fine as the high end brands, but ok for a beginner).
The bike's light, looks good and gets me around the local trails every weekend without any problems. I regularly do a couple of 20 mile rides that involve rooty singletrack and rocky climbs and the bike copes fine.
There's a review on bikeradar at http://www.bikeradar.com/gear/category/ ... 3-07-20096 and I've added my own long term observations on that page.
If you're on a budget....i.e married with kids and a mortgage, this bike is a sound buy.0 -
