VDO M1.0 mis-reads at 30mph
Has anyone else had this problem?
I've had this speedo for well over a year and I've been very happy with it.
Suddenly it's started mis-reading, but only when I get over about 30mph - it'll go down to, say, 7mph. Not only is this a frustration (having struggled up the hill, you don't want your average knackered on the down), but it's become quite a dangerous distraction.
It's a wireless computer, but I can't see how this could be an interference problem. It isn't what you's expect from a low battery either. Any ideas?

Had the same thing but on a different computer though.
It was the batteries in the transmitter at fault, changed them and all ok again."BEER" Proof that god loves us and wants us to be happy0 -
My wireless VDO comp did this after a bumpy, cobbled decent down from Mont Cassel last Wednesday. It has happened before, so I had a good idea that the transponder had been shaken arround the fork. I gentle push to align it again and all was well.0
