Squeeking Bottom Bracket...Brand New Shimano XT!

Again, my brand new custom built Meta 5.5 VIP has just arrived complete with squeeking bottom bracket! The unit is a Shimano XT (I presume as it's a full XT groupset?).
Will this chill with time as it beds in? I had it out for a 5 mile road run but it still squeeked as I was coming back in the gate. Obviously this is very annoying on a brand new bike.
Does it need to be stripped/tightened/loosened/greased?
Again, all help is much appreciated.
