I really like the transition vagrant only it doesn't come as a complete build so would be to expensive for me to do.

The cove stiffee is too expensive as-well, also it's more of a trail bike/light freeride.

Thing is I'm looking for a complete build.

The 55 on the NS shouldn't be to much of a problem as I will probably upgrade to a 66.

The plan of this hardtail is to get me better, as I'm only 15, so I will ride it for this season, going to Les Gets for three weeks as-well. And then at the end of the year I will buy a full sus frame and transfer the parts onto it.

What about a Devinci hardtail? I think it's called the 'hucker', or it was anyway...

Or a Dialled Bikes Alpine? Bill Thackray from Dirt mag rode the Mega on one. And someone on here bought one recently, but I can't remember who

If it's a full-on Freeride HT you want for under £1k, I'd go with the Deviant.

Merlin do stiffee builds - 1350 for their basic build - got to say to make the most of the frame you probably want a few upgrades on their base though.
