Zipp Tangente
Hi
Anyone tried these and can comment on their p******re protection....??
I like the idea of running a 21mm upfront on my 404s (clincher). But maybe i am talking sh1t (again). I normally use GP 4000s, but they only come in 23mm. I would use them for triathlon, hence trying avoid the p****res.
Thanks for any comments

I had a set of Tangente tubulars that came with a pair of Zipp 404s that I tested. Punctured both of them in not too many rides, and I wasn't doing anything silly on them. Not sure whether they've improved in the last three years.
Nothing wrong with running a 21mm clincher on the front, although they're harder to find than 23mm. How about a Maxxis Xenith Hors Categorie or Equipe Legere? They come in 20mm. I've always found Maxxis clinchers to be good all-round tyres.
I've got a 22mm Vredestein Fortezza Quattro Tricomp on the front at the mo. Fast and grippy, not sure of how long it will last yet. So far, so good ;-)Jeff Jones
